Brass Fur Clip Floral Design Rat Tail Fringe
Dress clips were popular from the 1920's through the 1950's. They usually came in pairs and could be worn either separately or together on dresses, coats and other items of clothing. Fur clips were similar to dress clips, but instead of a clip mechanism, they had two sharp prongs on the reverse so they could be worn on furs or a heavy coat.  This fur clip would be really fun for your own winter coat.
Atop a hollow brass square is a flower with two overlarge leaves.  There is a marquis design at the top and bottom of the square.  It is finished with rat tail fringe along the bottom.  There is some age discoloration and some slight denting and scratching on the reverse.  The clip mechanism is in good working order.
The clip is 3" high, including fringe, by 1-1/4" wide.
