Czech Dress Clip with Enamel and Topaz Glass Stone, ca. 1920s

Description

This lovely old art deco era dress clip is likely Czech in origin, with a stamped brass body. The clip has a large open-backed topaz rhinestone and a pretty floral design in blue and green enamel. Petite in size, the clip measures about 7/8" x 1 1/4".
Condition is excellent with no major issues to note. On the back you can see the remains of some plating or gilding that has worn away. This is fairly common on this type of piece. The enamel is in outstanding shape. The stone has a couple of tiny flea bites, which are only visible under close inspection. The clip hardware functions perfectly.
