This listing is for a very old, Edwardian/Victorian style Filigree, Art Nouveau brooch. This brooch is fairly large. It has chains that dangle and drape, which I find interesting. I don't know the age of this piece, or if it's a true Edwardian piece or an old reproduction, perhaps from the 1920s. It strikes me as quite old, so it may very well be from  the Edwardian era.  The metal looks like brass, but I don't know if it is. The hinge of the pin mechanism is working properly. The pin is secured by a hook. The weight of the brooch and the low placement of the pin on the back of the brooch, makes it so the pin comes free from the hook rather easily. I think this can be remedied by bending the hook inward so the opening is smaller. This is just a cool piece and will make a wonderful addition to someone's collection, or for resale, crafts, or even to just wear! The pictures are to be considered as part of the description.
