This 8" penny rug is a wonderful autumn piece and it is oh so pretty . . .wonderful color for the season. . .space in the center is best for a small jar candle display or a votive candle display . . .center will take a display space of up to 3 1/2" to fit inside the center . . .this size mat makes a wonderful hostess gift paired with a little glass jar of autumn treats or a small jar spice candle . . .the center is a beautiful 100% cotton fabric in an autumn leaf print . . .I have hand appliqued this to a "fresh linen" felted wool felt . . .this sits on a milk chocolate brown felted wool felt and mat is backed with this. . .there are 8 autumn leaves that are done in four beautiful felted wool felt colors that have been repeated twice . . .these colors work so well with the center fabric . . .I decoratively hand stitched the leaves . . .PLEASE NOTE:  the candle display in my picture is not included and the listing is for the PENNY RUG ONLY . . .beautiful quality handmade item . . .my own design and done entirely by hand by me. . .please see my excellent feedback for penny rugs and quilts - many wonderful and LOVED repeat buyers who keep me quilting
